Who it's for
People who want a real Japanese seal, not a souvenir version of one — but aren't ready to commit to a lifetime piece yet.

Maybe you've seen a hanko pressed in red at the end of a document and wondered how your own name would look. Maybe you're learning Japanese, or you married into a Japanese family, or you're buying for someone who did. Maybe you just want one good object to sign with.

These are carved to order by the same atelier, by the same hands, as everything else we make. The wood is simpler and the size is modest. Nothing else is.

Your first authentic hanko — finished by hand in Kamakura, to be carried for a lifetime.
